Gathering Crystal Shards

This particular method was so effective at making players GP so fast, that Jagex patched this method and removed the process of getting Crystal Seeds from the quest. Using the Roving Elves Quest to Gather Crystal Seeds

Background

This method is perfect if you want to reach your first 10M gp, because this method has no money requirements. However, it does have a good deal of quest requirements, and a high combat level is recommended. If you meet the requirements, then there�s no question about using this method. It can make you 2-4M per hour!

Basically, you are taking advantage of one little secret in the Roving Elves quest that Jagex overlooked. In the Roving Elves quest, you face off against a Moss Giant that drops seeds. These seeds can be turned into Crystal Seeds which sell for an excellent amount of money on the Grand Exchange. This method does require you to go up against a Moss Giant without weapons or armor, so a good melee combat level is highly recommended.

Requirements

You must have completed the following quests:

� Plague City

� Biohazard

� Underground Pass

� Regicide

� Waterfall Quest (keep the items from this quest)

You must NOT have completed the follow quest:

� Roving Elves � Yes that�s right, you CANNOT do this method if you have already completed this quest. You must have started this quest though.

You need the following Items:

� Rope, 300 sharks in bank (get out 24 in inv), Glarial's pebble (can be retrieved from Gnome who is under Gnome Tree Village), A spade, Glarial's amulet (can get from Glorial�s tomb), 3200 gp, Teleportation to somewhere near a bank

Specific Procedure

1. Reaching Tirannwn � Use the cabbage teleport or any other teleportation method to reach Port Sarim. Charter a ship to Port Tyras by Trader Stan for 3.2k gp 2. Once you arrive at the camp (circled in blue), there are three possible places you can to reach the Roving Elves. They travel around the 3 Quest Start locations (circled in red), and stay at each point for roughly 5 minutes. So it�s advised you pick the nearest Quest Start point and wait there.

3. Speak to Islywn to find out what he needs. Then speak to Eluned to learn about consecration.

4. Teleport to barbarian outpost and head to the place where you started the waterfall quest. Go on the raft. Then swim to the rock, but do not use the rope! You will be carried by the currents and end up back on land. Head to a tomb northeast and use your pebble on the tomb.

5. After you enter the tomb, you will find yourself attacked by a level 84 moss giant located in the middle of the room. He uses a combined magic and melee attack, so he hits with both in 1 hit. You will have to defeat him without the use of weapons or armor. Since this monster is level 84, you are fighting him no armor or weapons, you will need the abundant amount of sharks. After you kill him, pick up the consecration seed.

6. After he respawns again, quickly drop the seed, and kill him again. If the seed is in your inventory and you kill the giant, you will not get a seed drop. So make sure you drop your seeds before you fight the giant. Do this several times to get a lot of seeds. Continue to kill the Moss Giant until you run out of sharks.

7. You don�t want to finish this quest if you want to be filthy rich. After you run out of sharks, run next to the ladder (the one you used to climb down) and teleport to a location near a bank. Head to bank and get more sharks. You cannot bank the seeds if you wish to keep receiving them as drops from the Moss Giant. Therefore, I suggest that you either get them enchanted (learned in step 8) or you can bank all the seeds and withdraw them as a bank note to carry out. When you are about to kill the giant, you simply drop the bank note and pick it up once the giant is dead.

8. Use the cabbage teleport to go get near the Port Sarim. Use the charter ship and go back to Eluned, wait for her to show up. Drop all of your consecreation seeds except one. Have her enchant that one. Then pick up the consecration seeds one at a time and have her enchant them.

Warning: Don�t linger for too long, or else your seeds will disappear. Eluned disappears once in a while, and when she does, pick up all the seeds at once.

9. Once you have your seeds enchanted to crystal seed, sell them in the Grand Exchange. If you leave your seeds in the bank and kill the moss giant, you will not get consecration seeds as a moss giant drop. For this reason, sell your seeds before continuing with the process. These seeds sell for approximately 160k

Profits:

With a level 110 combat account, I make approximately 20 seeds per hour. With a value of approximately 160k per seed, that�s 3.2M gp every hour using this method. In 3 hours, that�s 10M GP. If you have the quest requirements, definitely do this method to easily get to 10M GP.
